From our families to yours, we hope that you are staying safe and have been able to self-isolate during these uncertain times. The hardest part for our family has not being able to see each other except for FaceTime. Although I’m sure most of us have been doing the same, it’s just not the same!
With everyone at home self-isolating, the phone is starting to ring so we would like to give you a little update.
For small local businesses, like ours, it’s important that we continue to communicate and connect with our community. It has been an another interesting week and like all of you, we are doing our best to manage the cards we have been dealt. We continue to keep our pro shop closed until further direction from the government and public health officals. Please STAY HOME we are not greeting any visitors. We are checking emails and phone messages.
With the National Golf Course Owner’s Association’s help, we have been approved by the Ontario government to continue turf maintenance operations at our golf course during the non-essential business closure. Some of our team along side with Superintendent Nathan are preparing the golf course for the coming season.
What’s the the good news in all this? It’s still only March! The typical golf season does not start until mid April to early May, so at this stage we could still be on pace for another solid season ahead.
This is a unique opportunity to practice your chipping game in the backyard, read golf lesson manuals, and spend time with family (you live with) at home.
Thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times. We will continue to update everyone as more information becomes available.
